can anybody tell me about this bike in my avatar? Its auto shift, and thats about all I can think to tell you. I broke the shifter last winter and I want to figure out how to get parts for it or new engine or scrap it. can anybody help me here. What kind is it? Where can I find the part? or parts? here are some pictures if you'll notice the broken shifter that happened when the teeth stripped and I decided It would be a good idea to run a bolt through it. Now its way broke off so I want to fix it. Its stuck in 3rd gear and will still start and run.

Not to say anything but, many stolen bikes get painted black and not having serial numbers and getting it for free are kind of signs of "stolen" so I would suggest carefully useing it.

The KLT185 and KLT160 are both shaft drive with reverse.
Yours has a 185 headlight on it, which is different from the 160.
Check the VIN (left side of the frame neck), to make sure it's a 185 before ordering parts.
You could see if the cylinder is stamped. 182cc = KLT185, 153cc = KLT160.

so the shift lever and shaft would be different from 160 to 185? under the tank there was a tag that said LT185a so that figures that out
