sold one, bought one!

so 13 days ago. I find a 81 200 without carb, junk seat etc. bought it on faith that its a honda and may run. Got the thing for 75 bucks. threw a 200X carb I had on it and pluged the tires. It ran good but smoked badly. So off to craigslist, Guy offered $170 for it, and away it went on saturday. Then sat. night, checking cl. and theres a 110 with carb issues. I emailed to ask the best price, got a reply 120 bucks. I believe the needle is dirty or just needs adj. good tires, no smoke. I dont know which was the better deal. But these things are starting to sell cheap. Jim

Jim, they've BEEN selling cheap, hence the reason you couldn't get rid of the better 87 for so long.

I'm willing to bet we are at about 40% less than what we could get about 1 1/2 - 2 yrs ago. It's sad because some guys really need the money. They have 3500$ into a 350X or 250R and can't even get 1200$ these days.

I bet the people with money to blow are having a farking ball in this recession.........

I wished I had that kind of money to spend, Im more into the under 150 dollar trike club myself. I did spend 200 on my 70, but got the 2nd 70 basically for free. Jim
