my needle valve is not sealing because of corrosion im guessing, and causing the motor to flood out. if i forget to shut off gas it will flood the airbox. what im wondering is, is there any kind of fix for this or do i need to get a different carb. If so does any one have one for sale. may have some z parts to trade for it.

Have you already cleaned it and put a new needle in it? Sometimes they wear and the pin the the top sticks.

Use a Q-tip and clean out the seat as best as possible. Install a new needle valve and it should be fine. A little carb cleaner or alcohol will help clean the seat up. Inspect for visable damage/corrosion. If not you should be fine with a new valve. After time they get worn and/or hardened and dont like to seat well.
