Hey guys, my honda 200s atc is louder than snot and my neighbors are beginning to complain. is there any home brew methods that I can use to make it quieter? I would love to hear any ideas you have.
Thanks,
Dan

An idea i took from a "homeade" job. Pack it full of insulation, or something non-flamable, then cap the end with a piece of 1/8'' steel. Drill you about 8 holes in the end of it and call it good. :D

i no of one that was made with the old baffle, and a fire extinguisher, looks really sharp and will never rust out, i made mine using a cobra system that was rusted out, but its loud as hell so not much better than none at all.

I have sean a # of them with a 8-12 horse Briggs and straten style. The Briggs muffler is just welded on to the back like the factory spark arrester.

use a pair of egsaust tubign reducers and a piece of 4 inch pipe or so and then put piece of smaller pipe trough it and make it ofset on the inlet and outlet and easily cheap

I made a flowmaster knockoff up at work one day out of some scrap sheetmetal for my dodge 1500. It sounded like a real flowmaster, but my wife couldn't take the tone it emitted at highway speeds when we would take trips so it came off and a stock style one went back in.

Why don't you buy an original muffler from a Honda dealer for your 200S ?
