It is completely awesome!!

We just need to stop being big giant bags of suk and start trying new things with these motors.

Of course some will be lost in the process but ya have to start somewhere.

I should talk because I have plenty of parts and equipment I can mess around with.

Still need that TiIG welder though...............

I wish some of us lived closer together SOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!! Between one guys equipment, anothers theories, anothers parts and yet another guys guts; We'd get some stuff done!

It's just so tough to do it all on your own :(

Then again, didn't Einstein live in a hut and discover the theory of relativity staring at a feather on top of his fountain pen?? :D

DC - being the engine dude you are...what do you think its had done to it. Im guessing a big cam, valve job, lightened flywheel...what else you think? This is how i would like to make my 350x motor run but the question is would it be reliable?

If you look it up on planet mini under the 70 trikes it has some video of it in the dunes, ITS GREAT , somewhwere I read its a 192cc, if you start with a 160 pit bike motor you can bolt on up to 184cc kit, I have a 160 in one of mine and a 2nd on the way [in the mad 70s in action ] it sounds close to same, the power is crazy on such a small trike, I have just started to master how to ride it, It will leave a smile on your face that won't go away, no such thing as to much power :D

Update! I stopped by today and got to check ou that bike. That thing is even sweeter in person and that ain't no joke.

The specs I was able to get from them was they have about $2500 into it. They have taken it to sand mountain and had no issuse climbingt he hills. The motor is a china nock off. The frame was extended a little to accomodate the 192cc motor!! It was NOT a direct fit. The work done to make the motor fit was very well and you could not even tell. It looked like a stock fitment but different bolt placement maybe. Everything was eitherbrand new or rebuilt. Front disc brakes, raised handle bars, shortend front fender to stop motor interfence, custom brake system to use stock foot brake, lowered foot pegs to make it easier and a more comfortable ride, new after market exhaust, tons of compression and very hard to pull start. I tried to get them to start it but they wouldn't saying it was to hard and sometimes they pull it to start it. I am guessing they just did not want to start it. THey did not say anything about motor guts other then the $2500 into everything. They said there was so much custom fab work done to it they couln't even think of it all. They only put bike on youtube because one of the guys there that day has a camera. It has gotten so much attetion that they orignally wanted to keep it on the quite side. No anymore.. lol

In one of the pics you will see another nice 70 next to the 192cc one. They have had that one up to 70mph! Also there shop contains so many old 70/90/110's. They have a bunch of US 90 bikes, christmas specials, so many with the old orignal ballon tires and a few on the side that look to be either orignal or restored. I asked them why they had so many and if they were going to open a showroom? He said yes, they are stock pilling them and going to open a 3 wheeler shop show room. They restore, part, sell and fix ATC's and some older quads and some small 50 motor cycles ( Can't remember what they are called). There is a pic of them and you will see them on the right hand side againt the wall. He also said they specilaze in 70/90/110's. They do get bigger ones in but they don't generally stick with the listed.

He said they have an 250r that the ower scored that is so orignal it has only been ridden like 3 or 4 times. All stickers, tires nubs etc is all there. Said it lools like it came off the floor formt he dealer still. No it does not get riden he said. They don't leave that one at the shop due it rarity. Once they get the shop open they will put it int he show room. I am going to keeep poping in so when they go to open the shop/showroom I will be able to take pics.

I got invited to visit the owwner home shop whenever he is around. This is where this 250r is stored. The owner has been restoring 3 wheeler for like or close to 35+ years . This guy is a ture 3 wheeler junkie..lol I am going to try to get him on the boards, maybe he will have some cool stoies from back in the day.

So with no futher ado, the trike picture porn.. EDIT: Sorry guys the board won't display the images so the only thing working is straight link :(

I can vouch for these guys. I live right near there and I have stopped by there a few times and just sit and drool. The work that comes out of their shop is amazing! Stop by and see them all. Not sure if it has been brought up or not but I believe the owner (won't drop name unless told it is ok) created a disc brake setup using bike parts. It is so sweet!

that rig is sweeeet :) i always like it when trikes are given a mod that still lets them look stock, but has something extra special that will shock the spectators :) i wonder how well that would do in the woods? way too nice looking for me to take it up there lol :)
