I stole this 86 350X (pic)

Not literally, but I saw it on a ad on craigslist. I've always wanted one too,. They wanted $1100, I felt bad to give em any less, so I gave 'em $1100 cash for it. It's in almost mint condition with lots of upgrades. Pro taper bars, K&N fliter, full cobra exhaust, durablue axle, that' sabouit it. The only thing I have done since I got it was put 20'' new dunlops in the rear, replace the fork seals, and put new fork boots on it. It runs great! I love it! The oil still looks new in it, but here pretty soon, I'm gonna change it, and put Amsoil 10 w40 on with a new oil filter. It also came with a nice set of wheels with paddles on em barley even used!

One of my friends put the filter backwards in his 300ex a few years back and cooked it. We still give him hell for that one lol.

I'll post a few more pics of it. I got a service manual for it on craigslist, so I don't think I could put the filter in wrong. Aslo the day I got back from Iraq I went and picked it up!

I've seen MANY a few oil filters in backwards and these were people that weren't retarded :lol: maybe just temporarily dumb......

Nice X, nice price too!! The most rescent engine that I picked up on ebay had the oil filter in backwards, I got pretty scared to say the least, but it turned out ok.
(FYI) the filter had no markings on it so, a person who doesn't have that much knowledge on these engines could very well get it wrong

actually i picked up a filter from the local honda dealer for my X and its actually stamped into the side of the filter. this side out/this side in. i was still scared i put it in wrong though. never want to experience it again.

verry nice but also make shure you use the amsoil made for motorcycle wet clutches otherwise you willjuet be replacign a clutch in no time.

Ya I was going to get the 10w40 full synthetic motorcycle oil and put it in it. My dad puts amsoil 20w50 in his Harley, and loves the stuff!
