Looks pretty cool and has an old school paint job  . I used Oakley grips back in the 80s on my race trikes . Maybe an old oakley sponsered trike ?

"Brand new engine?? He says not rebuilt, but new."

I can't say what it is?But shouldn't the headlight match the rest of the paint scheme. Also to wheels are different colours and it appears to have trail pros. But all that could not be original. Two grand seems an awful lot of money? Is there legit documentation with it.Has anybody tried to get hold of Oakley to confirm they ever made such a beast?

I think the front fender is just sitting there for the pictures. I hope so anyways.. It does have an awesome paint job that is still in good condition. I wonder if it had a round headlight on it painted to match at one time? Old school seat, and what appears to be a Works shock (judging by the color). Braided front brake line. Pretty sharp.. Somebody has taken good care of that time capsule. Looks like it has a larger intake with a big carb (see through plastic bowl).

MonroeMike, is this thing still for sale? How much does he want for it? Are you in contact with him?

Depending where you look, that trike is $800, $2000 or $3000. That eBay auction was $800, then he listed it here (http://www.thehondaatc250r.com/classifieds/index.php?method=showdetails&list=advertisement&rollid=42&fromfromlist=classifiedscategory&fromfrommethod=showhtmllist&fromfromid=11) for $3000 and at the beginning of December, he listed it on Craigslist (http://maine.craigslist.org/rvs/1489885938.html) for $2000.

I was really digging it.. not for $2K or $3K of course.. Then he sent me this picture..

What do you think it is worth now? Why would you install a new motor and then slather on the silicone for a nice tight intake to carb seal? The gas shutoff looks like it is for a natural gas shutoff. I'd like to hear more but $1K? I don't think so. I wonder if the carb inlet is too small for the intake?

Another one.

I thought the same thing. That half-assed job on the carb is something else.
