I'm looking at a set of used Turf Tamers I ran last year. I want to use these for ice racing instead of mounting up the Chen Chings. Where's the best place to get some KK's?

Hey, that's the first ice thread I read this fall. You do you guys install the screw on a new tire? Anyone can tell me how to choose the riight lenght stud and how to install them? I bought a set a Cheng Shin fully studded for the rear, but I need to stud a front tire. I was planning of mounting a Maxxis C9207 Pro XGT front on a 10'' rim. BKT also make a tire with a identical thread.

i say use thos kanadian studs for the front i have soem 5/8 screws lef tover it may only be a 150-200 but i want soem of the old tall screws for the front of the zilla so mabey it will turn lol

I like Brapp's idea. I'm doing the same thing....psyco studs on the front and all new shoes on the rear.

New studs and tires for me this year. My last race last year was on a flat tire.....I obviously lost the race and Anthony...AKA Riverrat got it on tape :rolleyes:

I knew I was due for studs badly....I had 5 years on my last set.

I know this ain't classifieds but.
I am trying to sell a brand new never used set of wheels (ITP T9 rims with Klaws and c826) and tires and a few bags of kold kutters on CL.

I have four brand new bags of one inch kold kutters, plus one partial. Probably totals about 1100 screws. Plus another bag of about 500 5/8 "gold" screws.

I'm getting ready to order new 826's before they run out again. Dennis Kirk has jacked the price from $35 last year to $55 this year plus they hit you for a $5.00 fee per tire. I think I have another hook up to get them for $46 each shipped. I'm looking forward to this winter!
