He thinks it is 2 cylinder because it has 2 exhaust pipes....Please explain why it has 2 exhaust pipes..please

it has 2 exhaust pipes because it has dual exhaust valves (2) that open to let twice the exhaust out faster and it needs 2 pipes if it has 2 valves and chambers.

yes it has such a big cylinder they need the extra port. :D A good way to prove to him that its only 1 cylinder is it only has 1 spark plug.

Yeah you can't have 1 plug to two cylinders ;)

My dad asked my friend sitting on his warrior "That thing two wheel drive then, or is it 4?"

tell him your 350x is 4 wheel drive!! lol that might make him think.

I know someone with an older nissan pickup 4x4 that has a 4 cyl and has 8 plugs.

Lol this is a funny topic couldnt resist. I dont think any one could kick over a 2 cylinder 350x! :D

My dad's ford ranger has 8 plugs & 4 cylinders. When he bought it he was so excited...."I got me a Ranger with a V8"...I let that one go for awhile, he finally figured it out on his own.

Also ask him if he sees two cylinders 8)

airmancam......i dont see why you think a 350x is hard to kick....im 5'11 and 155lbs and I can kick one over easily....2 of them would be a little work...but imagine kickstarting the older harleys....talk about compression

your all wrong :D the 350X is not a single cylinder.

all total it has 6 cylinders

combustion chamber cylinder.....................1
front brake master cylinder.......................1
rear brake master cylinder........................1
front brake caliper is twin cylinder..............2
rear brake caliper is single cylinder............1

.................................................. ............6

My 350x isnt that hard to kick either because it has never been beat or abused. And never road much untill i bought it. My other one on the other hand is a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro to get started! Ask anyone with a 350x a sorta beatin one and they will tell you lol ;)

Ummm wouldn't a twin cylinder 350X be EASIER to kick over since you would only be on the compression stroke of 175cc at any given time?

The new Dodge pickups with the Hemi have that dual sparkplug thing. I'd hate to see the bill for 16 new plugs and wires, esp. if your getting performance plugs and wires.

I believe you would have to kick it all at the same time. But the banshee isnt that bad and thats a twin.

lol, sometimes you just have to give people "the look" and tell them "mentaly" that they're wrong. That way you save your breath and avoid an argument. When I first got my ATC 110 my friend asked me "so is that thing 4-wheel drive". I just simply looked at all three wheels, gave him the look and walked off without saying a word. He eventually figured it out. Thats when I told him he was stupid. :D

Ask anyone with a 350x a sorta beatin one and they will tell you lol ;)My 350X has a complete new and reworked top end and it fires right up, but getting the kicker to go down is something else. It goes down easy until you stand on it for the compression stroke. It will stop my 162lbs thrust like nothing. Its not to bad cold, but if I run it for over 10 minutes, shut it down and go to restart its hard as hell. The decompression cable has been set to factory specs and it does work. I would rather kick my 250R any day of the week.

Twins only compress one cylinder at a time, making a Banshee much easier to kick than a 250r or TriZ, and also making them roll backwards (turning the motor backwards) much easier when they dont make a hill, while my 250's will sit there when I hop off. Heck, my CB750F 4 cylinder had a backup kickstarter and it wasnt any harder to kick than my R or Z.

Many 4 strokes have a compression release, and what you feel is not the actual compression, but how the release is setup, and a 350x is one of these. Disconnect it first, then tell us about compression, and how hard it is to kick!

I would rather kick over anything then a 350x but once you get it going its worth it! Idk why im making them look like some monster lol. I dont have a problem starting any of mine! They start first kick every time. With no trouble. LOL
