85 atc 125m

Just bought two 1985 Honda atc 125 m both have the same problem, they lock into gear when pushed, almost like they slip into gear. Haven't had time to run one yet, I was hopeing some here could help? Also is there anywhere i can download a repair manual that is free or a small cost? Thanks Andy
