Can't get waterpump cover off my 250r

Took the 4 bolts out and drain plug. Won't come out.
Beat on it with a rubber mallet, no luck.
Any ideas?

there is lips on the cover, you can hit against the lips and not damage the cover, don't hit or pry anything that has a gasket sealing
