Anyone ever get bad news titleing their trike

I was wondering if anyone here went to get there bike titled and found out it had been stolen in the past? Whats your story? What happened after you found out it was hot? Just curious to whats happened.

i have never had a trike title ,, i dont think i ever will either ,,i dont think my state makes us title them but not sure ,,, dosent matter if they did i want get one lol ....

Kinda wondering that myself, KY doesn't have any kind of ATV title.
I'm guessing OH does or did, the 87 that I just got has a 1996 Rec Vehicle sticker on the tank.

here in virginia there it is not required for us the title an atv... and if we do file for one i believe they make it out of a salvaged title but i cant confirm that
