Here is a 70 i picked up from the fox a few months back, ive been working on it here and there, shes just about done..

Its got a very low hour 110 pit bike motor in it.. I made a super trapp exhaust out of the pit bike pipe, it was the tipical dirt bike pipe that went over the motor so I cut it apart and made run under the trike, then added a super trapp to the end, and cut up the heat sheilds and used what i could... Being it was a dirt bike motor it was rear kick, so I extended the kicker and moved it foward so its a "pull" start now, witha bid dice shifter knob on the end.. Its got some of Hagens custom foot pegs they slid over the stock foot peg bar pretty easly.. I also made it a foot brake out of a US90 foot pedal lever and a E-brake plate from a 200X, i cut the stock hand brake lever down and bolted it to the 90 foot lever for the cable to attach to... The seat is carbon fiber from one of our new venders we picked up last year, this stuff is really cool.. The bars are polaris scrambler along with the light gaurd and i stacked up 2 sets of bar clamps for raisers.. The grab bar is some flat plate and a jack handle i had laying around i used 250r front fenders grommets inside the jack handel to keep it from moving around on the 1/2 inch all tread that runs threw it, with clamp on six pac rac.. Its got 200x rear hubs with some 1 1/2 billet spacers that cover the axle nut for a clean look, these cam on an old 200x ive never seen a set like this I think they are home made.. Still got to put the aluminam front wheel on and the skid plate, then i think she'll be ready for hot laps...

Lookin good Freak! I was wondering how the 70 was going this weekend. Looks like it went to a better home, one where someone would find time to work on it!

loving the lights..seem that alot of you guys with 70's spend more time and money customizing them rather then the tri z or 250rs not saying that it is a bad thing

Thanks for all the complements guys..

Still not sure on what wheel package to run on it yet.. Ive got another set of 3 bolt Turbos, or a set of 3 Dick Cepick 8by8 anodised gold that would look really cool on it.. Anyone got any pics of a 70 or 110 with gold wheels on it? Then ive got some Burris 16's for the back and a 16 by 7.5 multi trac from the front.. I wanna run 16's all the way around but putting an 8" rim in the forks may be tight.. I was thinking of cutting down a set of 90/110 forks 3 inches for the correct ride height but am worried it will look to wide.. Or just put a bottle jack in the 70 forks and open her up alittle..

What is everyone else running on there custom mini's? I dont wanna run the snow blowwer "hole shot" tires, nothing wrong with them just seems like every custom 70 has them, and i like standing out from the crowd..

humm, doesn't the early Honda Odyssey run a narrow 8" front rim with the same 3x100 wheel spacing? Am I remembering right that they are both 3x100? something to check about....

Yeah they do, and ive got a few.. But good luck fiding that rim width in aluminam, well I could probly get them new but im tighter than 6 coats of paint..lol.... Ive got them cause they are 2 peice and useing the oddy 2 inch on the back half and a Turbo 4 inch on the outer half gives it a 6 inch width for a better profile on the tire, 8 inch wide tires look like too much tire for the 70..

Can you give more details on the light setup? I would really like to put one on my 70 build.

Its just a Polaris Scrambler light gaurd with some automotive fog lights from the parts store I had laying around, I think they came off an old mowwer i had or the junk yard... It pulled together rather well and looks pretty good.. Only thing is the stock 70 motor has a 6 volt lighting coil it will still light them up but not very bright, but some of the Tiwanisse motors have 12 volt systems..

Thanks for the info. I think they look great. I just put a 125cc lifan on mine. I would think its 12v but really don't know.

Thanks again for sharing the ideas.

Freaks, you need a big single desert light on there! And if you wanted a bigger number plate, I think blue27 is making the replica Tiger number plates in fiberglass.
