Funny Story...

so a few days ago I hear from a friend that there is a guy selling three nice 250's for $1200 so my dad wanted to jump on the deal, so we go take a look today. First of all he said they were 1984 Big Red 250's, and he would not let up when I said there wasnt a 250es in 84. and then, he charged us 1500! when my friend could have bought it for 1200 and he didnt even know the guy. The trikes were bad. One was hard to look at and the other two were decent but only one was running. they were missing starters, CDI's etc. Am I the only person who thinks that these will never be sold? well, not for 1500 anyway :p BTW the pictures do them a little justice...

Wow! That's funny! I'd give him 500 max! for all 3. That's it you could probly build 1 decent trike out of them

yeah it could make one good one, there are good plastics there and one of the engines looks good. but no way am I paying 500 each and two of them dont even work. besides I have another 85 big red lined up that i might get tommorow or the next day. all that is wrong with it is that the front rack is bent skyward, and the fenders arent even bolted to the rack, but they are fairly new Maiers. the valves need a littl tweak and thats all

i would say $250 especially if you have to dig them out!!

I'd too say you were looking at about 500$ in machines. Then you end up getting one and a half good ones and a bunch of junk all over the yard.

I never bought them, if i had lots of money I probably would have because I always wanted a 200. but dad is my bank right now and we both knew it was a big rip off. Ill have pics up later today o the 250 I might get for 500.
