I have an ATC 200, Mainly whe I am turing I here a "rhythmic" thumping/banging sound from the right side,(maybe right rear). Also, I dont know if it is related but sometime when I shift hard into second or third I get a little delay in the shift (Clutch slippage???)

So a couple questions, if I do need a new clutch, what other years/models with work with my bike.

Do you just remove the bolts or nuts in the center of the wheel to remove the wheel (like a car).

Another question, I need to replace the valve stems, can I just break down the bead or will the tire need to come off?

This is my first 3 wheeler and I have only had it a week. The gas tank is being sand blasted and I am looking for a new seat.

to pull the wheel just take off the big nut with cotter pin and the wheel and hub will slide off.///////about the rythmic banging, that says something is loose.worn or otherwise.check that out.

Welcome to the board. Interesting pull rope handle. Do you know the year of your bike? If not, try the VIN in this.

Axle bearings? Can you get on and tip of from side to side? Is your axle bent? Put the bike up on blocks and start it up. Does it look extremley bent? Try adjusting the clutch, on the right case cover, theres a screw with a lock nut. Loosen the lock nut, then back out the screw till you feel light restoance, then put it back in 1/4 turn. Might also check for slack chain.

LOL, I was pulling that thing so many times the blisters were killing me. I can now get it runinng on the first of second pull everytime. I just haven't got around to taking it off yet.
The bike is an 82 ATC 200. It runs really good now that I got the rust chunks out of the jets. The thing sat for 12 yrs in a garage. It had been started but stalled after a second or two. The first time I put gas in, it ran out all over the place, it had about 10 pin holes in the tank.
BTW, I am looking for the rear rack for that thing. It can be rust just no rust holes.

I will try the clutch adjustment today. As for bearings, Yes, i can rock the bike side to side until it almost tips over. The ine sting i noticed when I had it up in the air is that the wheels wiggle alot and when I am on the smooth road it feels real "wobbly"

wobbly could be loose lugs or bent axle. I heard on here once that you can air down the tire in question and see if you notice a difference. Never tried ut maybe worth checking.

I've got an all aluminum gas tank for that thing if you don't mind the Mountain Dew logo on the side of it.

no, can you wiggle it side to side with out the tires leaving the ground? sounds like dead bearings or bent axle to me

Well I tightened up everything and I still have that sound. I kinda sound like it is coming from behind the clutch cover. I dosen't happen when I am going PERFECTLY straight ONLY when turning slightly or turn hard. Its got me stumped. Gonna chech the chain tonight.

I am new to these machines but i think there is too much nooise coming from the head too. maybe not getting oil up there.
