I just got home from a 12hr round trip to pick up my 1987 250SX WOO-HOO. :w00t: :w00t:
This is awesome since I missed an 86 last week that was only 2hrs away.

Got this one for $500 + a 400 small block chevy short block that has to be bored and built.
The only problems that I have found is the front fork seals leak, the grab bar has been re-welded, the tank has a golf ball dent, the handle bars have been widened 2" and the tail light is missing but it looks really good and has Majer's front and rear and all the tools are still there.

Anybody got a tail light they want to get rid of?

very nice, and an 87 to boot, wish mine was that clean when i picked it up, have fun with it.

I couldn't believe how clean it was. The PO said he didn't ride it much and when he did his kids were on it with him or he was going to or from a deer stand.

The tires are Cheng Shin and from looking at pics online a think they are model C828.

those tires are great if your just trail riding and or using it as a work horse. they came on my ytm 225. i have alot of trouble spinning them unless im on gravel dirt or sand. grass and harder surfaces they catch instantly. and they dont slide well either.

They look like Cheng Shin Lumber Jacks, like what I've got on the back of my
200m, except mine are 25".

Very nice find and a good price too. Those tires are close to Lumber Jacks but not quite... Heres my Lumber Jacks

I want to put a better exhaust on it, what do you guys recommend?
I have found a complete Cobra kit but heard that it is very loud.
