How much compression should a tri zinger 60 have?
I just picked one up. cleaned the carb, new plug, has good spark and getting fuel but won't start!

The only thing in the manual I have says

Compression ratio 6.6:1

I'm sorry but I don't know what that means. I tried to help.

I have two manuals for the zinger. I couldn't find the compression psi in either.

Mine had 80 before I rebuilt it and 110 after. It ran on both.. Have you tried to hold you hand over the carb opening for a couple of pulls. For some reason has good luck on this when I first got mine and it wasn't started in a while. Only way to I could get it to start

My zinger has 75 psi and runs. It is a little weak and sometimes needs a shot of starter fluid to get going when cold but it runs. New rings are on ordr for mine.

did a test on mine and it was reading 30. so i ordered new piston and rings for it. right now it has a pw50 cylinder on it but will be putting the stock cylinder back on it when my parts come in.

Nice - fun little fellows aren't they. Now - deck it out like your 250R - same color scheme......

Anyone know if these look like the right gears to make the zinger go faster? they are from a qt50.

And was there ever a aftermarket pipe made for the zinger that don't stick out past the grab bar?

Have you ran it with the PW50 head yet? Notice any difference?

never drove it with the stock head just put it on to see how much comp it would have. but this one pulls alot better than my little cousins 4zinger. Mine don't cut out like his does on topend (seems like it hits some kind of limiter) mine just keeps pulling and i don't know why.

Now my only problem is i have gas leaking out of the tank!
