250es Tail Light Question!

I have a 1985 Honda 250es that has two light bulbs in each tail light, but the upper bulb wire has been cut. I do not see anything in the service manual or part fich that shows two bulb hook up. Does anyone have the same set up? Thanks

My 85 has a single bulb in each housing... Wonder if yours are off a different machine...

Could be! I thought they were brake lights, but no switch anywhere! Don't think they had brake lights on any model year. Thanks

One bulb in the rear tail lights on each of my 85 BR also. They had no brake lights

I wonder if Honda used the same tail light assy on a different model that had brake lights!

does the 1985 big red 250 have reverse and electric start? also do they have front and rear suspension?

Idk, dual lighting idk maybe it was designed to be street legal at one point...

im thinking about getting a big red 250 from 1985 but they guy said its a 1985 250ex is there such a 3 wheeler? i have not seen it yet.. i am assuming its a big red..

cold be a 250sx which is the sport version of the 250es, s and e are right next to each other on the keyboard.

he said it has racks on the front and back also and revers though.

No the 250sx was called that. The 250es was the big red. Like factoryx said some 250sx's have racks put on them. The big red came standard with them. The 250sz doesnt have the dual rear taillights either. Also the headlight on the big red comes off and is attached by a 10' wire to use as a work light. This isnt included on the 250sx.
