So I adjusted the cam chain via the auto adjustment, does this sound bad? I rode it for about 2 hours yesterday and it seemed fine?

Yea I have to lower it, I turned it up while riding cause it seemed to have a bit of trouble idling after a couple of hours of riding.

Have you checked the valve clearance?

It sounds ok, turn the idle down and adjust the valves, thats probably the sound you are hearing.

I'll check the valve clearance tonight, what exhaust do I have BTW? I bought it on eBay and it was advertised as a OEM exhaust and obviously isn't, I want to know if I can get a spark arrester for it.

Started it up again yesterday to adjust the idle and I stalled it after adjusting it and it wouldn't start again....I had to bump start it....Waited a few hours, came back and tried to start it....nothing. I got it to start this morning but the idle is super high....I think I may have to rebuild the carb or something :( But I adjusted the valves and it's much quieter now, thanks

try adjusting the mixture screw on the bottom front of the carb.

Nice, and the idle screw is like 1 1/2 right? My local honda mechanic said if the rockers are too tight it will be hard to start too, but it started this before I adjust them....right before in fact.
