need some 250es help

so after trying to get my buddys tri moto going, and finding out it had 15psi compression, me being the idiot i am told him just jump on one of mine and lets go for a ride...never again.... :banned: ...well he ended up tipping it on its side in a mud hole.. now the neutral light wont come on when its in neutral and elec start wont work, tried the kick starter, still wouldnt fire, checked the spark and it isnt getting any :cry: .. the headlight does work, reverse light doesnt work but never did in the first place ..
anyone know what this could be? it tipped to the left so the kill switch/headlight/choke cluster box did go in the mud, im thinking it may have pulled out a wire or something, didnt really get a chance to mess with it last night but will be later today, anyone know what it could be or have any suggestions of things to check? :cry:

Im not really familiar with the 250es, but I would say to unplug the wires coming off the kill swith/headlight cluster, then kick it over and see if it has juice. If it does, then your switches might be bad, or grounded out with mud and crap and may need cleaning. Have you tried a new spark plug?

ill try to unplug them when i work on it and see what happens, i didnt try a new plug yet but i am highly doubting thats the problem...

If the Neutral light isn't coming on it's often the plug that connects to the switch at the base of the engine on the right side outer case. Corrosion and looseness seem to plague them.
