84 Big Red rear fender question

I would like to get some new rear plastic for my 84 Big Red. I was looking in Dennis Kirk. The only rear fenders I think might work are .....

atc 200s 84-86. (does not have provision for trunk. )

atc 250 ES Big Red 85-87. (two piece fender, just like an 84 big red)

will either of these fit? if not will anything fit?

Is it possible to use the 200s fenders and cut out where the rear box is?

any help is appreciated. it doesnt have to work perfectly but I would like some kind of fenders on it.

I am pretty sure that the 250 fenders and 200s will not work. The 200m fenders are the same though (learned from Howdy a little while ago ;) I used to think they were the same as the 200s for some reason) Unfortunatly maier only makes the front fender and not the rears last time I checked and honda discontinued the rear fenders also while the 85 and up are still in production. I think that service Honda still has them, pretty expensive though.

Damn, I was hoping for an answer of yea either one will work but you have to chop them up some. :(

I checked into factory ones a while back and I think your right, factory ones were expensive. I dont remember what exactly they were but i think it was upwards of 300.

oh well. maybe some will show up somewhere.
