Wondering if someone can give me some advice my big red runs like crap at wide open throttle and the rpms surge up and down when I hold it at half throttle.
Heres what I have done so far:
Cleaned carb twice (even changed it with a spare one I have no difference)
Checked timing
Checked valves
New spark plug it looks light brown
Carb has #95 jet and set on the third notch
Changed fuel tanks with a good working one
Checked cdi box with another good one
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Try checking the timing advancer behind the CDI cover . Its bolted to the cam shaft . See if the springs are working correctly or even missing?

The springs are there but seem a bit sloppy I am going to try a whole different cdi of another bike that I have tonight and then I can rule that out.
