im looking for an ATC engine or a 2X4 quad engine, to fab up a gokart and stick it in for something else to ride. I was thinking a 200s, or m or a chain driven quad engine. any suggestions?

Sure that should work good. You'll have to think of someway to mount it. On my go cart i have a 110 and the footpeg mounts just happened to line up perfectly with the regular engine mounts. you might find the same
Also, make sure the chain will fit. If not you might have to change the size or the length

I guess that depends on how scary you want the go-cart to be and how much time, money and welding rods you have.

Yep. You want crazy and scary and still want to use a three wheeler engine, either use a 350x, 200x or 250r. You would have to make up a lot of stuff though

It also depends on the size of the carrt. I'd say for this area a 200m/s etc motor
would be good because their cheap durable and reliable. If you wants some more
get up and go i say a dirt bike motor would be a better alterntive then trying to
find a 250r 350x etc motor here.

skidoo engines work great. rigging up a shifter linkage thats not a suicide shifter type can be difficult.

i would also use a dirtbike engine,cr80,kx85 or maybe a 125.blaster engine also
