I have a little zinger that I use for gettin' the mail on. I was riding it and the throttle cable snapped, so I parked it for about a week. I went to start it, and when you pull it over, it also turns the axle. It starts and when the switch is still on "start", it is already moving. If you stop it from rolling, it just dies. Also, it is alot harder to push now because it turns the motor over. I am not sure if this is a clutch problem or something in the rear end. Any insight?

I wouldn't think that the throttle cable snapping would have anything to do with it being stuck in gear. Maybe the clutch is stuck. My tri-zinger rolls free when you push it around.

Click above on "Member List" and send a PM to BRYAN RAFFA - He knows zingers like the back of his arse.......

Like dcreel said, the throttle cable and clutch or ?? issue are seperate.

I wish MY mailbox was so far away that I needed a trike to retrieve the mail :D sounds sweet..........

I just pulled off the clutch. One of the throwout springs was broken. Threw in some new springs and ripped! But I need a throttle cable. It is a little ironic how the throttle cable and the spring broke at the same time. Wonder what else broke!

Any mods people do to these things? Might as well do something while I'm doing the top end. I already have a pod filter on it. Mod the exhaust?
