Anyone have any experience with or comments regarding Gforce aluminum extended width rear wheel hubs? My 84 200x needs new hubs, so i was cruisin ebay looking for some 300ex hubs to upgrade to when i saw the Gforce hubs. They look awesome, but seem kinda inexpensive ($95 pair brand new!) I see used oem hubs for $60 to $70 per pair. They add an inch and three quarter width per side plus the fact that the 300ex hubs are already wider than the stock 200x hubs.I think that means over 6" of width from a stock 200x. Any feed back would be much appreciated.

Got a set sitting in the bedroom waiting to go on the axle. They seem pretty darn beefy. I was told they can slip and grind away if they aren't properly torqued on.

I do know of someone who has them on his bike and has beat the PISS out of it, they are holding up just fine.

well... I just made the purchase. Might as well give them a shot since the price aint to bad. These are the upgraded steel sleeved hubs, according to the ebay ad. I read a couple of negative comments on other forums about the splines not holding up, but the pictures the guy posted looked like all aluminum splines. or,what was left of them anyway. I'll add some comments once they have been installed and thoroughly thrashed upon.
I've never ridden a 6" wider 200x, hope I like the way it handles. I do a fair amount of tight fast trails, But also do hit the dunes almost as often.

you ever price the oem hubs new? its more than $95 for both, probably more like $100 each. It depends what you do if you will like them better, tight stuff- you'll hate them and bend rims/axles. For the dunes you'll like it, I'm just thinking you are gonna be to wide for most trails. I have atv's that are 49"- 50" and the only trails I will go on are wide trails and thats a tight one.

I have a set on the atc450r and love them. They are built very very well. The only worry that I have is bending my axle, but not too worried about it since 90% of what I ride is dunes. If you have 8" wheels you may have some issues with your wheel fitting over them.

Yes, please keep us up to date on your g force hubs. I have a 86 200x and plan on ordering a set. I have 8 inch rims on it also.

Ok, got the hubs. They will fit with my itp alluminum 8"x 8.5" wheels. As long as they fit the axle I think they are good to go. I plan on trying them out this weekend. They look pretty badass. very beeeeefy.

Yes, updates !!! If they are good to go I will be ordering a set for my 86 200x, then taking my 86 hubs and putting them on the 250r. It will be a win win.

I installed the hubs this weekend and gave them a thourough trouncing. I am impressed! I retorqued them a couple times throughout the day, the nut had not loosened or backed off at all. The extra width feels awesome . looks cool too. Powerslides are stable as a table mable. If any problems develop you all will be the first to know, but...so far so good!

The extra wide look took a little getting used to,but I'm used to it now! Almost makes the rear fenders look cut. Some kind of optical illusion...man. Of course I remember the Three Amigos. Thats when Chase, Martin, and Short were still funny.
