Well we took another trip to our cabin in Montana, the weather was great, all the machines ran perfectly, and we all made it back in one piece! We did some hiking, fishing, shooting, swimming, and ate waaaayy too much! It was 9 days of much needed R&R!
We did a few long rides, (60+ miles one way) and a few short sprints (pick a mountain and race to the top...most top out around 6000ft), and then some technical trail rides. :TrikesOwn
Only had one incident involving my 14 yr old nephew (all kids that age know EVERYTHING, right?).
I asked him if he'd ever ridden an atv before, he says " oh yah, all the time!"
I had him 'put-put' around in a grassy feild while I watched, and realized he knew (in my best Chris Farley motivational speaker voice).....JAAAACK SQUUAATT!!!
We kept him between us so we could keep an eye on him, and he still managed to drive off the road into a pond!
Anyways, here's some pics. Nothing too exciting as I suck at action shots.

Yeah... I'm still not sure how he managed do do that!?! I came around the corner and he was just climbing up out of the pond with a dazed look in his eyes.
Once I saw he was O.K....and more importantly;) ...the quad was O.K. ...I had to laugh!
You can just make out his skid marks in the top right of the picture as he left the road, became airborne,...and buried the nose in the pond.

Looks like a great time!
When my cousin was around 14 or so I was on my 300ex I had at the time and he was on my grandpa's Polaris. One minute he was behind me and the next he was rolling the quad down an embankment similiar to that. He had to get stitches in his head lol.

Dude...great pics and that place looks like a slice of heaven! My wife and I live in El Paso, TX, but we have a cabin up in the mountains of New Mexico (Cloudcroft). I haven't had the ATV's up there yet, but plan to soon. Can't wait. Do you run into any jetting issues when you get that high up? El Paso is around 4,700 ft. and Cloudcroft is 9,000+ ft. I'm just worried I'll have issues....

I enjoy all the pictures you take, looks like fun, wish mountains were closer to Minnesota. Also didn't know you scored another 350x. I don't see any pictures of my super duty... hope you didn't sell it, haha.

I did have to take the airbox lid off the 350x that has the 6 pack rack, it was running rich and bogging in the midrange, it's jetted a lil' fat anyways and I ride it at sea level mostly.
The other 350x is a lil' hotter hp wise, but I think the more open exhaust helps a ton, no problems at all with the altitude change on that one.

LOL!.. no way... still my daily driver, I just didn't feel like taking the tools out of it for this trip, and the dog likes the AC in the back of the wifes Excursion on the summer trips. It's a 7.3l diesel too so it pulls the load just fine.
Besides I had to take it on it's maiden voyage, in July my wife left on a 10 day trip with my boys to go back east to visit family. While she was gone I did a mini pimp-my-ride on her truck.
It went from this........

Oh.. yeah I picked up the nicer mostly stock 350x last fall, it was in the winter shots I posted last January. I also grabbed another 03' 250ex sportrax (the red one) so I could ride with my 10 yr old and be able to have my 4 yr old in front of me if the wife didn't want to go riding. My 10 yr old moved up to the red 250ex from his Jetmoto 125. It's now waiting for the 4 yr old . :)
Here's a pic last fall when I brought it home, you can see the other one with the 250r front forks in the background.
