do you guys think that putting high heat enamel on an engine would last. Because I tried it with a few components on my engine, like the valve covers and that. If I were to do the engine, I would put a high heat primer, high heat enamel and then finally a high heat clear coat. would this work, or just all flake off?

Yes, I would glass bead the surface lightly to be painted. Prime and glossy paint, no clear...Beets

Yea, if you can get those tight area's without breaking fins? Take your time and do it right. Thin coats and lots of dry time. Let us know how it goes. Beets

alright, thanks . I can get to those places no problem. I will do the rocker box cover first and see how it turns out and see if I want to do the whole thing.
