Hey, my 86 200x doesnt shift properly...... when I go into 1st gear its fine but when I get on it and accelerate and let out the clutch after shifting into 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th or 6th gear it slips a second and revs up and it feels like it is still in the previous gear!!!! then drops into gear finally and takes off  .... what makes this happen? bad clutch or springs or what!? the clutch I think is properly adjusted... it engages then still has a little play in the lever/cable like it is supposed to...it isnt too tight or anything... any info would really help, thanks! also if it is the clutch is it hard 2 change!??? THANKS GUYS!!

you might have worn pads...might wanna check that are you the first owner, if not the person that had it before you might have clutched it alot/rode the clutch :?

You need to take the cover off and inspect the clutch disks. Sounds like they are shot.
