Can you take a regular 39 pwk and use it for alcohol? Is there any neccessary procedures to do this?
What about a lectron carb?

methanol or ethanol? regular gas has a fuel/air ratio 1:12 methanol is 1:4.5 ethanol is 1:6.5 so you have to jet way up. if your using methanol multiply your stock main by 2.6. it might be a little rich but a good starting point. lectron carbs are the best for this application. alcohol fuels like to corrode carb parts so some people run a few ounces of gas through after each race/ride.

You would have to drill out the dump tubes as well as jet way up. Its best to just buy an alcohol carb designed for the application. It can be done though, Jetting it to run good would be a challenge. I have an alky carb~41.5~ set up for sale if your interested.
