tri z 450 build ?'s

I plan on building a tri z 450 over the winter and need help along the way. Ive seen one on this forum of a sweet yellow/black one. This is the first time building one of these so i will ask a lot of ?. Im starting out with a 85 triz that i got a few weeks back the guy sort of restored it so its in good shape with a fresh engine.

1. How much fab is involved in fitting engine? From what ive read you only have to fab top engine mounts.
2. does any year yz450f engine work?

bryan raffa did a 490 ice racer and im preety sure derrick adams did this ytz 450 .. search for them...btw :welcome: to 3ww many people willhelp you along the way

well be prepared for a lot of fab work, if you noticed the 450 trikes lately are never done(close lol) and can always use more work....
