i'm interested in a suspended 200e frame. did they ever make or a kit for it? it'd be cook to run a suspended 200e. if not, what rear sections with swingers would you recommend one use if they were going to suspend the back of their BR?

mine's an 82 200e. has 250sx front end swap now so looking for rear suspension.

Isnt the early big red shaft drive like the newer big red? That would be tough with the shaft drive...... IMO

Here is an aftermarket suspension kit on a 185 that you could possibly cut off this frame and fab into your frame ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390022371056&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:MOTORS:1123

sweet find!! if I had $150, but then again I can get 200x rollers for that around here so why do that? maybe if it was $100 shipped or something.

I was just thinking about this the other day, coming back from the forrest after riding my 200e. I have to stand up and use my legs as suspension. works great but tuff on legs. would be nice to have a bit of rear spring. not to many ATC's around these parts. so I could not pic and choose. i would probably get a spring etc and fabricate the arm from scratch. i love the simplicity of my trike and have to hold myself back from going completly nuts. I'll end up loosing sight of why I purchased it in the firts place. It was cheap......

Awhile ago I had a TRX 200 83-84 around there, parts quad.. I was looking at it and its the same as the BR 200 with the center shaft drive.. I thought it would be so cool to cut the front off the quad and weld on a neck from a trike.. Everything was the same from the motor cradle back.. Youd just have to use the trike back bone for the gas tank and the main down tube.. It be a very easy build, i just didnt have the time or the trike to start with. Little off what you want but it just came to mind when i read this..

how about getting a 200x but take the motor out and put the 200e motor in? I mean e-start would be cool and whats cooler is less fab work to do........

I think the 200x rear would do. I cant think of where to put the battry box ,air filter etc. for spring and shock placement. depends on how much travel is needed. saw a 200x on ebay with a 4 stroke 200e motor in it. Very cool.

hrmm yea my 200e motor is fairly hopped up. it pulls pretty darn hard! may be cool in a 200x frame.
