ok when i open my 84' r up it pulls hard and strong, but when i let off the throttle is revs out of control( and no the throttle is not sticking). i beleive it's deisling, because when i turn the switch to off it keeps reving, and i heve to pop the clutch to shut it off, and when i check the plug it's dry, and a brick color.

~can somebody tell me whats causing this, and how to stop it?

my t3 did that a few times and one time i thought it was gonna explode and i ran away from it it scared me soo much  flipped the switch off and everything and it is just revvin in neutral. it turns out that it was starving for gas or somethin cus after i cleaned the carb out it stopped and hasnt done it since.....may not be the same thing for you but probrably related to gas and it's thirst for it :D i would clean out the carb really good... ;)

hope this helps

A few things could be wrong, you could have an air leak in between carb and engine, your mixture could be very lean, or you could have fuel starvation from a blocked pipe or carb inlet/filter. Dieseling is the right word, the end of the spark plug glows red hot and ignites the fuel mixture, a lot of bikes can do this when run out of fuel, the mixture goes way lean and everything gets very hot, not good for 2 strokes.....
If you need to stop it try putting the choke on.

Dude that happens to me when either when i have the fuel shut off or I dont have enough fuel in it. Your engine isnt getting enough gas thats why.
