anyone know how long the clutch pushrod is? i think i have one from a 84-85, as its not even close to touching the pressure plate.

anyone know if i can still buy a new one?

Hey I have 2 motors, and probably a whole bunch of other stuff you need, and I need 2 shocks rebuilt, I P.M.'d you a few months ago, but I'm ready to act now.

BTW when I ship you my shocks, trade or not I'm going to put the tecate manuals on cd and send them too.

I had the same problem w/ my 87 T3. if i put the basket on w/ the motor in gear the basket would not sit all the way into propper position, the rod was to short. I even tried to shim the rod to make it work, once in neutral using a basket holder everything worked fine.

84-85 push rod will not work. I had a similar problem with 86 motor but found someone lost the proper ball bearing that goes between push rod and push plate (not 2 be confused w/ pressure plate).

I used a ball bearing out of 84-85 and compared the rods.

I have a rusty one I can measure tomorrow.

the push rod i have is 6 1/4 long.

i'm gonna have to look at it again, i put the engine away, figuring i had the wrong parts. i have a push rod from a newer kx i was thinking of cutting down, but i must have something else wrong.

how many fiber plates should there be?

maybe its in gear, i'll check that.

84-85 is 6.25" but the 86-87 is little bit less than 6.5".

thanks for measureing them. i made a longer one from a newer kx250 push rod.

the original one i have must be really worn or a 84-85 rod.
