Will a TRX swinger fit on a 85 R frame?

just need to know if a TRX swinger is a direct swap onto a 85 250r frame?

Yup, as long as it isnt a aluminum 88-89 style. The brake stay setup is different from the 85 tho, you will need the 86-87 style brake stay AND the carrier is different also. Im not sure if your 85 axle will work with the 86 carrier,......i cant remember.....brain fart.

^I think* the aluminum 88-89 ones are an inch shorter. I too should take notes.

ok thanks guys. anyone know if the my 85 axle will work in the 86 carrier?

the reason im trying to do this swap is because i already have a 86 carrier. when the dude sold it to me he said it would work in the 85.... well i learn right quick that it doesnt.

85 axle will not work in an 86 carrier..

That Aftermarket axle you have will fit '85 - '89 250R's
