View Full Version : figured out where my power loss was coming from :/

I bought a gasket kit because i had a couple oil leaks. I tore apart my motor last night and almost crapped myself. my valves and piston are JUNK. :( my question is......... does the gasket kit come with new valve seals or do i have to find them somewhere else? i found a high compression piston on ebay for 30(some closeout) and a vesrah valve kit for 30 but i dont know if the seals are included in the kit

I know if you buy the vesrah top end gasket kit it will come with new valve seals .

also get an "oil seal" kit. it's has all the oil seals as thse are not included in a gasket kit. anytime I do a top end I at least replace the all oil seals.

Looks like their in the kit you bought . I see one by the cylinder base gasket and the other one is by the cam cover gasket .
