I just ordered another new 11" Douglas front wheel from http://www.recreationtires.com/ and didn't get a tracking number so I called them and the guy I spoke with on the phone told me some bad news. He said he was out of stock and that Douglas has discontinued the ATC front wheel. He did however locate ONE wheel through the dealer list and had it drop shipped to me. So I guess now we will need group buys just for the 11" wheel too now. Kinda sucks.

So anyway I stumbled onto a site and found a new front tire for an 11" wheel. I bought it cause I thought it would be good for MX racing. It is a Duro 22x7-11. It is replacing my 23.5x8-11 Cheng Shin knobby. The Cheng Shin 23.5x8-11 actually measured 23.5 inches tall and the Duro measured 21 and 7/8's tall, both with 6psi. So anyway here are the pics.

I haven't been able to ride it yet, but when I do I'll let you know.
Here is a link to where I purchased the tire.

They kill ya on shipping. The total was $60.18 shipped. I think it will be a good tire, hoping anyway.

Let me know what you guys think.....

It looks like a holeshot mated with a Cheng Shin and this was the baby that came from it. That's really cool though. For sure, let us know how it works. Other 11" tire options are always a good thing.

its actually a snow hog copy. I believe carlisle makes the snow hog tire, its for snow blowers and other equipment

I called douglas to see if they had anymore rims left and they are gonna do a run of 40 around the 20th so they are still available.

awesome! I bought one in back in feb and was told then it was one of the last.
might have to buy another just to keep in the stash, (have 4 11's and 2 10's already) but will buy another just to keep douglas interested in making them in the future. with the economy like it is, it wont take much for companies like douglas to give up on a product like that. everyone put one on your christmas shopping list! So the end of August Douglas will have 11'' rims for the front 250R ?

The guy said at the end of august they will be making them. He said it is one of the rims that they would like to get rid of because they only sell about 40 of them a year so they are not making alot of money on them. I guess all you can do is hope that they don't stop making them. He also said that OMF can modify their rims for custom setups.
