Weak Spark!!!

The bike is a '85 250R. I was out riding and it was working very good. Then it happened it sparked bogging and not running right good thing the truck was close to I managed to get it back to the truck but it wouldnt start again so I loaded it and went home. I pulled the stator cover off and it looks good not water or dirt or anything like that. Its getting fire but its a weak spark not like it should be but it wont start. seems like the spark is to weak or its no sparking when its supposed to now or it could be both..Its also a brand new plug..Can somenoe please help me..Thanx

Well I think I may have found he issue. Tok the ohm meter and done some testing and the cdi box was fine. now where the wires connect from the stator and pulse generator i checked it there and on the stator side red/black wire was 126 ohms specs was 50-250ohms tried the yellow/white conection for the pulse regulator and got o.7 if i scratched a bit on the frame in went up a little like 5 ohms but wasnt consistant as the other reading. The ohms for the pulse generator was 50 - 250 ohms so I'am thinking that is my problem for the weak/no spark....sound about right to you guys..?

Also is this pulse generator also called a " pick up coil "? In the manual it says if you replace that to also replace the stator but you can get brand new pulse generator off ebay for 40 bucks. Can you just put a new one on or is it better to also buy a new stator...What do you guys think about the ricky stator with a lightned fly wheel?..thanx for your help
