i have a 84 atc 250r and its bogging mid throttle somone told me to do a plug chop what is the correct way to do this i heard several diff ways please help

Clean your carb and check your needle :)

i cleaned the carb and its on the second from top should i move it up to the top notch idle good would wrong gas mixture be a part of it bogging md throttle

What plug you using bro? And yes wrong oil ratio could make it bog.. I run 40:1 = 1 16oz bottle of mix to 5 gallons of gas.. Have you tried a leak down? MAybe you sucking in air somewhere in the system..
Many better people at this that could be helping you tho, It took me over a year to get mine running right lol :)

k i am going to dump gas and do a fresh mix with good oil at 40 1 i did a leak test i sprayed starting fluid and carb cleaner all over carb boots and everthingg and idle stayed the same
