Hey guys this is my first post here. I have been into quads for a while now and have built up my 421 cub banshee myself so i know a decent about about 2 strokes. My problem comes whenever there is wiring, i have a 82 tri moto 125 that i just picked up for ice fishing and noticed some of the headlight wires are messed up and disconected and i will need them this winter when getting on the ice before its light out. Can anyone help me out with the headlight wiring? Also where is the darn chain adjuster? Thanks

Welcome to 3ww. Here's a wiring diagram for a start.

What year 125? The rear chain adjustment is different on the 80-81, than the 82 and later. On the 80-81, you have 3 bolts on the rear bearing carrier. You loosen all 3 and the rear bearing carrier slides backwards somewhat. You also have a spring loaded idler wheel that should help with chain adjustment.
On the 82 and later you have to bolts that you loosen up and the rear bearing carrier pivots when you adjust a single bolt that should be ahead of the rear bearing carrier then you snug your 2 bolts back down. There also should be a spring loaded idler but it is slightly different than the 80-81 idler. Hope this helps or at least gives you some idea what to look for.

Welcome to 3wheelerworld. If you look in the right hand corner of the page at the top there is a quick search feature try putting in YT chain adjustment or something similar.
Here's a good thread about modding out the trimoto.

thank you all for the help i really appreciate it!! I got it all set and ready. Did these tri moto's come with a factory primer? Mine has one on it and i belive the primer hose is going into the hole that was for the injection line? The injection is blocked off and there is the primer hose hooked in a little fitting on the right of the carb. Im thinking about taking it off because when its running the engine seems to push the fuel in the line around alot, so im thinking i will just cap it off since it starts great without the primer....
