so today i was cleaning out my grandfathers barn and i found a near mint 350x seat with the ATC logo on the sides i havent decided what im gonna do with it yet. i figured it must have been from my dads 350x back in the day.

Is it a different one than the one in the pics????? The one in the pics is torn, has tons of ass wear, and dirty.

thats the seat it has a tear and its actually not dirty just at the top i would consider it near mint considering it sat in my grandfathers barn for years and was coated in dirt that i cleaned off

That's a decent seat that need's to be recovered ,IMO - or would be good for a rider but to clarify ,I think these guy's are saying this seat in the pic's is what they would clarify as a mint seat.Just stating my opinion on mint,but your seat is actually in pretty nice condition considering the life it's had I'm sure . They're just saying that the seat I pictured is a mint 2-300.00 seat vs your nice seat that has rip's.You should still get some money for it just not the same as mint value.

theres next to NO ass wear on it. only thing thats not Mint "considering" is the tear near the top. id say sandpuppies is more "NEW" then mint. mint is a term for used. but in amazing condition. the posted pics of his look like they just came out of a box from the factory.

The pan is worth 30-40 all day long if the studs are good.

Get the moshes to recover it before you sell it. That seat is so far from mint.

Thats a 30$ seat if the pan and studs are good. But, even the foam will need work.....

I honestly can't believe the words "near mint" were even uttered in this thread. If you were to buy a seat (or anything for that matter) without a picture labeled "near mint" is this what you would expect?? I think allot of us expected to see a real nice NOS/OEM seat.

I guess everyone's definition of "mint" is quite different.

When I wanted a spare for the 350X I won one for .99c and 17$ to ship, put on a MOSH cover and it is now MINT :D I actually just covered it last week.

hey corb not everyone lives aorund her eman lol its a decent start with anew cover but if its been torn liek that for years the foam may be brittle but i need a good seat to recover for my pretty350 so mabey we can work soemthign out. it look sliek its torn pretty go dup at the top and has a bit of black stain on it in spots but its presentable. i wish you coulda seen my 85 350x when i got it and you woudl have seen mint not the triek is just mauled lol
