86 atc350x frame color?

Hi Guys
I was wondering if anyone knows what the paint code honda uses for their 86 atc350x red stock(oem) frame color? My local dealer said he can't get any touch up paint or anything for the 350x red frame color. But he said that honda cars use N63 for a paint code and he thinks that the same color as the frame on the 350x or 250r frames. But, I am leary of his opinion on the matter. Has anyone matched up or found the correct match for the 350x or 250r red frame color? Any help would be great because I need to find a match to touch up a few spots on my 350x and 250r frames.

if you deceided to powder coat the frame i found that the harbor freight red is almost identical to the stock color

We have always used massy like on the tractors it seems to match better than the honda paint the sell at the dealer

If you just want to touch it up:

I'm unsure "what" years and models were what. But the 85 250R I had; The Rustoleum Sunrise Red was near dead nuts on speck!! :D

86 may have changed?? Apparently even the white tanks for a 350X in 85 or 86 were a different paint. Just try an inconspicuous area first :beer:
