Hi ,I need to replace the rear axle on my tri z....so i need to take off the rear sprocket and coller also the hub ...HOW ON EARTH do you get the coller off,I've undone the 2 nuts next to the coller ,I've sprayed oil on it and left it over night sevral times,I've had the axle on it's end and tapped the coller with a hammer..i've knocked it ,tapped it, banged it ,Stillllllll wont budge,How do i get it off ..can anyone help please

Heat it up till it glows red hot, then give it a good hits. The splines are probably rusted together. Worst comes to worst, you'll have to torch or grind it off and find a replacement collar. Cant you take the axle out from the other side?
