I can't figure out why Jason's looks soo much larger... wierd.

yeah I'd love to have invertsts but my source for forks fell through, not to mention I'm still in college. Might be my graduation party to myself in May.

so what easier the bike to trike or the quad to trike

audioworks04

I donno about that. Neither one is very easy(guessing the quad to trike isnt easy). On the bike you have to worry about the front and rear ends working out as far as alighnment and rake. On the quad you have to worry about building your own front end from nothing or grafting on a front end form a trike.
Im still working out some bugs in mine that are left. the rear brake master cylinder and pedal turned out to be one of the most trying things to fidgure out. Still left to fidgure out is how to take shim or bushing the .006 play in the swing arm bolt between the motor and trx450r swing arm pivot bolt. Have not been able to find a machine shop that is able to turn me a bushing as thin as i need it to be. Next idea is to try boring the swing arm and using the CRF bearings and seals.

I guarantee that the bike to trike will be easier. Just think. Most quads have a guard and a whole bunch o' frame right in the middle where you need your single wheel!
And lord of terror, your pic didn't work man!!!1 try again. i wanna see it
Nice trike TIm

I would have to say for SIMPLICITY quad to trike is easier.

I know how long/time/effort it took ATCTIM so slap his together. Ill let him chime in but I know it was pretty easy for him/snake.

Quad to trike is much easier I feel - but that is not what this thread is about. It is about showing all the 450s. Here is Derrick's old on - now it belongs to Sam B.

Unique - yes - but not prolly so good on the MX track. This thread was mainly for next generation 450 motocross motor conversions - but whatever.
