Ya my Z pipe has the same pre stamped out lower section that this pipe does. The expansion chamber is bigger in diameter than the Z pipe though

Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree. I would have to say by my best guess it is a Bills pipe.

Thats kinda what I though too but wanted to ask everyone here considering I have never seen a Bills from that era. Has anyone heard of Riechter exhaust? I could be spelling it wrong. A friend of mine has a 86 250R that he used to flat track back in the day. Now its just sitting in the loft of his shop collecting dust. Im just drooling over this thing  It has a Paul Tuner pipe that Riechter privateer silencer a Paul Tuner swing arm with a bunch of billet hubs srocket holder and rotor holder..... just sitting there.... been up there since like 91..... even has the short track kit on it too!!!!.....

yeah i have one of the richter privateer silencers too, pretty sure they never made an expansion chamber though, you should try and snag that trike from your buddy or at least take some pics of it and post them!!!

Took the 250R down to Sand Lake OR this last weekend and one of the guys with us used to race short track around that time. He told me it either a Bill's, LRD, or possibly a CT. They are the only ones that made cone style pipes back then.

i never knew of CT having a stamped lower section on any of their expansion chambers only knew them to be complete sectional pipes, as for LRD i have only seen one and it was a complete sectional pipe as well

It seem to have real good mid and top end. Not to bad on the bottom end just tough to tell with that stock POS 34PJ carb. It getting a fresh bore 39mm airstiker and V force reeds before its next trip. :beer

Search for sectional pipes - I have a CRF pipe for the 250R
To be Honest I think Jemco made the CRF pipes- good quest to ask Jemco!
JEMCO still makes pipe for the ATC 250R, Tecate, Tri-Z

Ask Hondaharry on the boards about the pipe, he has a Jemco he just recently refinished on his R.

Looks identical to that CRF just without the stamped tag. I will shoot Jon an email over at Jemco and see what he has to say...
