I want to rebuild my crank! Who does a good job and does not charge an arm and a leg?

I always change my connecting rods myself....a good hydraulic press and a lathe and your in buiseness,check thre is probably someone in your area who change it.I charge 40$ to change a rod....machine shop want 90 in quebec for the same job....

Yeah I know the guys at action cycle. My buddys cousin used to work there. He was a total douche, so I have refused to go there for the last 3 years

50$ is a great price IMO!!

It's "easy" for guys that are use to working with correct tolerances and dial indicators/v-blocks.

And even easier to screw it up......

Rons cycle 269-483 - 2095. Ron said about 50 dollars if you have the rod already. You will be about 3/4 of a mile from my house in White Pigeon.
Cycly suppy, 269-244-8441 (Three Rivers, Mi. about 2 miles east of my work).
Both shops are one man op-erations.

What crank you fixing up ??? Yamahondaman from Fla can do some fantastic crank work, really custom stuff on the 2 strokers, not sure about 4 stroke ???

Lately it's hard to do anything these day's where i work John... "they" are watching LOT'S more .. soon i will be doing Deepa's TRI-Z Crank in a "special" set-up for him...
