I need a jet kit for the 81 185s with the 22mm Keihin carb. Would 22 be the series of the carb or is there another number I have to go by? I need a set of 92 and smaller jets to try. Or just for now buy an individual 92 to see what happens after I install a rebuild kit. I found many sites with Keihin jets but I don't know if they fit my carb. Thanks.

You need the small round main jets for your Keihin carb. Carb size doesn't matter. Some dealers will have various sizes in stock. Others may have to order.

Ok thanks. I ordered a 92.5 and 90 from Dennis-Kirk.

Keihin makes half sizes? I know Mikuni does but I didn't think Keihin does.

Its supposed to be a half size, I guess i'll find out when it gets here. Hopefully down sizing to one of those is enough, it was twelve bucks.

MRcycles has good jet prices, I haven't bought from Jetsrus but you may want to check them out. I bought a chitload when I was dickin with the 28MM Flatslide Mikuni carb.

Other guys make you buy 4 of one size and or nail you on shipping them when they weigh merely a couple of grams.......

You may be just fine with a size or 2 change but for the diehard tuner like myself, you have to have a huge surplus of jets. As an example, for the 28MM Mik, pilot jets alone I bought 25,30,35,40,45 and 50  at least I have them now :D

Got in the new 92.50 and 90 jets yesterday. I started out with the factory 95 jet, it gave way to much fuel(plug was very black & black smoke). I took carb off and put in the 92.50 jet(noticed a difference, way more power, less bog at off idle throttle, less black smoke). So took carb back off and installed the 90 jet(hardly any bog at off idle throttle, even more power, just a touch of black smoke). The plug looks much better now(still black, but deep inside I am starting to be able to see a little bit of a light chocolate color:w00t: ). So I am going to go down to about 87.50 or 85 later and see what happens.
