73 ATC70 with front suspension and Brakes!!

Yep I was playing around and this is the start of a future custom build. I am in the "mock up " stages, plus Wife wants to ride this one at the Mid Ohio swap meet next week, so I had tto do something to make it stand out a little. Fiberglass front fender, A+ replica tripples I had made at a local machine shop, 81 ATC185 front DRUM (yes Drum) brake and wheel hub narrow to fit, with an 81 ATC 250R front axle shortend to fit, by a member on 3WW. Front suspension makes a huge difference, I like ridding this one now,lol not as much as the Mini Tiger, but much more bearable. Went with the drum since the 73/74 have the inboard rear drum and to convert to disc brakes is more involved and it gives the old skool feel.(plus it works well also)

Nice mini wheeler!!!!!!!!!! Is that a Honda Minitrail 50 in the background? I have a 67, but it dosnt look as nice as that, and it is blue in color. Actually the first thing I ever rode, motor never been touched, and still runs great to this day! Im looking for a little atc 70, and am waiting for the right opporunity to get one. SWEET!!

Bruce it's amazing how much it rides better with the new fork setup.Not to mention the stopping power the front brake has.Now just do something about the super soft seat foam.lol

quit "complaining" about that seat!!! It only had a week to put it together, seat foam and cover will come when I tear it down for paint.
