got a cheap chinese cdi - bad idea
got an oem pulse coil
got a coil off a honda scooter
brand new ngk nd another plug that both work

....what now?

You will need the proper CDI for that machine to get it going more than likely!

I'm with ATCTIM, you need the right parts for that trike. Chinese and scooter parts won't usually cut it.
