:wondering Has anyone had any experience using sticky backed plastic (Fablon), or self adhesive vinyl to change the colour of plastics rather than painting?
I know it's not indestructible but it should wear better than paint. We have companies here that wrap complete commercial vehicles in the stuff, warm it to make it fit contours ect., and if you don't like it, peel it off and start again.
Is it worth a try, or am I talking complete trailpro ?!

Hadn't thought of that, I guess so, never seen it in person.
If it does work any sense then in theory with a bit of work you turn your trike any colour that's available, even woodgrain!

I'm a supervisor at one of 3m's commercial graphics plants where we make the vinyl film. I've thought about using some of it but I want the camo. They won't print it for me because of copywrights so I'll have to order it. We do have some chrome that's an actual conductive metal. They use it for solar panels. I think I saw some woodgrain out in the warehouse the other day. Litterally thousands of colors in the warehouse.
