I put the chain on my 110 today the chain as far as I can tell fits on the front sprocket but I cannot get it to fit the rear sprocket. The rear sprocket is a 49 tooth, not sure what the front one is but I believe I got it from bobbyjim here on the forums and he said it will fit the 110. The chain is a 428H. what am I missing here?:wondering any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will it just not fit or can you not get it on?

it will not fit the rear sprocket. I had to "roll the chain on" like you would have to on a bicycle and it sits on top of the teeth on the rear sprocket instead of in the valleys between the teeth.

Sounds to me like either you have an extremely worn out rear sprocket - or it is plain and simple the wrong sprocket. My guess is that it is badly worn.

Is it hooked?

Its a new sprocket, I used it along with the axle and bearing/axle carrier out of my old 1981 110. the sprocket was just replaced two years ago but has maybe 50 miles on it.

the chain, I know fits on the front sprocket, when I put it in gear and give it some gas, the chain does not catch on the rear sprocket, just kinda slips on top of it and it will not stay in the "valleys" on the sprocket even when tight. The sprocket is about two-four years old but only has about 50 miles or so on it. The sprocket is not worn, just dont know what I am missing. It has the #428H chain on it, it is a heavy duty chain could that be the problem?

Do you have an old chain from this machine? If so lay it on the sprocket and see if it fits.

Sounds like the wrong sprocket now.

I tried an old chain and it worked! the chain is kinda loose (stretched) and I will replace it tomorrow. the old chain is a 428H. the "new" one I had is too short I guess, because the "old" chain that is stretched, worked just fine. thanks for the help guys!!
